Hi! Welcome to Mindful Learning!

Hi, my name is Romit Chunduri and I'm a high school student from Georgia. My parents immigrated from India to America in search of better opportunities before I was born. Ever since I was a kid, I have always felt strongly about helping others and I came to realize that in the world, there are currently about 4 doctors for every 1000 people. This is when I really became interested in science/medicine and had a goal to become involved in healthcare.

Deep down inside me, there was always a hunger for knowledge in medicine. When I got into high school, I joined clubs like HOSA and Science Olympiad in order to further my knowledge in several science-related subjects. I also took several science-related AP courses like Biology and Chemistry. As I broadened my horizons, I realized that Neuroscience was a subject I was really passionate about. I was really interested in learning about the nervous system and its development and function.

Neuroscience is a topic that I really admired, but I came to realize that most high schools don't offer a Neuroscience course, so I decided that I wanted to learn more about it and help others learn about it in an easily understandable way. To make this a reality, I decided to create this website where I am able to explain and teach a course on Neuroscience for students to understand the information more clearer.

Therefore, it was clear to me, and after much thought, I created "Mindful Learning," a Neuroscience blog education site that is dedicated to providing simple and understandable neuroscience concepts to all students interested in this topic while at the same time building a community that is willing to help each other at all times. 

My vision is to help students understand and study the beauty of Neuroscience because not all people and students have access to understandable and reliable information. Therefore, by joining Mindful Learning, we can all start this journey together and I will be posting every month!
